
Lightspeed Classroom – Login
Here’s the direct link to the Lightspeed Classroom Management page. When you login with your email address, use your .org email address. On the next screen, do not enter a password. Scroll down and click on “Sign in with Microsoft”. If needed you will sign in with your .org email and password. Next, you’ll be presented with a screen of all of your classes auto-rostered through Aeries.
Lightspeed Classroom – Starting a Class Session
After logging in, you should see a tile or list of all your rostered classes from Aeries. If you click into one of your classes, the next screen you might see that all your students are offline, even if their Chromebooks are on and they are online. This means you need to start a class session. You can either click on the “view schedule” link in the light blue banner to start a session, or by clicking the gear next to your profile picture/initials. You can choose to start an “Ad Hoc” session to run for a specified amount of time, or you can set schedules so class sessions start automatically. Again, a class session must be started in order for you to view student screens and internet activity.
